This album is a collection of original songs from the last 20 years, some with original lyrics and some with lyrics written by close friends.

A few of these songs were written for TV shows, which is always nice for the residuals. The song “Just One Kiss” was nominated for an Emmy award for best song from a daytime show, which was “The Bold and Beautiful.”

I realize I have a gift for this sort of thing. When I see the finished lyrics on a page, the melody comes to me instantly and almost notated on the page. Although a few of the songs were recorded as demos, I felt that they were worthy of release. I’m performing much of the instrumentation myself, but also brought a live rhythm section and full horn section on a few of the tracks. I studied composition at the University of North Texas, but the gift of melody sometimes cannot be taught. It is a gift from the master of the universe.
