  World blue, Released 1995, originally on Hypertension//BMG Records, Germany. At the time I recorded this, I was working 4 0r 5 nights a week in the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz, Monterey, LA, Reno Vegas Show Rooms with Paul Williams,A dueling Piano bar called "San Jose Live",
  and Spring tours with Long John Baldry. I had been working in Funk Biscuit with David Garibaldi, who had just re-joined Tower of Power, and I had become connect with the East Bay Funk scene with the founding member of Tower of Power, Doc Kupka.
  
  I was working a dueling piano bar a few nights a week to pay for the production, an advance from Hypertension in Germany, and a loan from my father, who sadly passed away as it was released.
  
  This was a large production, and we were in between the era of 2 inch 24 track tape and digital recording. I had met and worked a bit with Peter Gotcher and Evan Brooks, from Audio Media Digidesign, during the 80s, which evolved into Protools. You can hear some of my experimentation, with audio loops, and Sampling, on Cosmic Drum, thanks to Bruce Tambling, the engineer, who teaches Protools and Recording now at Foothill College in California.
  Some of my favorite people on this CD are gone now. Kathi McDonald, on vocals, and Joe Hodge on Percussion. I had been reading Paramahansa Yogananda, "Autobiography of a Yogi". and there. is a bit of spirituality, quantum physics, and a very positive time in my life.

  Twelve tracks all sung by Sanders and it is his vocals that create great atmosphere and tension throughout. His own 9 original compositions contain imaginative and thoughtful lyrics. Sanders leads a fascinating line up, creating a big band sound,.................a very sophisticated selection of material which shows a wide range of influences but with a very bluesy overtone.
