I wrote the melody of this song in 2012, in a rehearsal room where I was teaching piano in Vancouver. I had lost my voice from cancer of my tongue and teaching music was the only way I can make a living at that time.

I'm thankful to God and the BC medical system for saving my life composed the melody in one sitting. I was carrying on a long distance relationship with Skype to a woman. Named Maria who I met in 1995. We had recently rekindled our relationship after I went through a divorce we are married now and this was the first song I wrote for her with lyrics by Mr. Chris Caswell, who is written some amazing songs by Paul Williams, Hal David, and Many more
