I wrote this song for my beautiful sweet wife Maria, who brings me joy every day. The melody came to me in a dream, while we were in Vancouver. I ran down to my studio, and recorded the melody into my computer, right away, before I could forget. Maria and I met in 1997, in Germany, on a Long John Baldry tour

Two months of one nighters over a 2 or 3 month period. We spent 10 days together on the middle of the tour, where I fell in love with her. Over Time, circumstance, and an ocean between us, we lost track of each other. In 2012, we reconnected in 2012, and were married in 2015, on October 7.
I was Long John Baldry's piano player for many years, replacing Elton John, who held the gig until 1968. I'm a huge Elton Fan, and love many of his great string arrangements, with Paul Buckmaster,

and James Newton Howard.
My wife Maria and I are big fans of orchestral string scores of the Movies, Mozart, and the classics. in 2008, William Ross and Doc Kupka of Tower of Power asked me to be the vocalist on a great CD called "Doc Goes Hollywood, with an "A" List Hollywood Film Orchestra. Mr. Ross is one of the greatest film composers, and Arranger conductors in Hollywood, Music director for Barbara Streisand, Harry Potter, Academy Awards, Titanic, Star Wars.

It's been my dream to arrange a song like this for full orchestra, but I think we created something beautiful here
She suggested I add a string section, to feature this beautiful melody. I studied orchestration at the University of North Texas, film scoring, and studied the scores of John Williams, and so many. I met Maria Grig through
Airgigs.com, who studied at the conservatory at Saint Petersburg Russia, who added 12 string parts, solo violin, viola, and cello. She's an amazing player, and so honored to have her on this great track.
